About Us

Bryce and I met in Ketchikan, Alaska in May of 2012. We started talking in May of 2013 and started to date in early June of 2013. I went to BYU in Provo, Utah and he was at Utah State in Logan, Utah. We spent a semester commuting to see each other on the weekends and holidays. On Halloween Bryce proposed with a box of See's chocolates while we were watching The Nightmare Before Christmas. I said yes and we planned our wedding in 2 months, tying the knot on New Years Eve of 2013. Now we live in Logan, Utah where we go to school. We plan on going back to Alaska for the summers to work and make money for school. And most importantly, we are head over heels in love for each other! This is our love story, and the beginning of our very own Happily Ever After.

Tuesday Night Traditions

So Bryce and I enjoy watching Ink Masters on Spike every Tuesday at 8. This week we made Tai Peanut Noodles and ate them on our extra full-sized mattress that we dragged out to our living room. This is what the final product looked like, and it was DELICIOUS!

3 reasons why I shared this photo:

1. I've been sick for the last week or so (a mixture of a bad head cold and allergies) and Bryce has been a stud helping out making dinner and even making dinner once a week. He wants to cook one meal every week so that our kids always know that we can both cook-HOW AWESOME IS HE?! (The answer is pretty flippin awesome by the way)

2. I thought it would be fun to share our new little tradition

3. It looked pretty awesome and I was proud of it! So I had to show it off ;)

Other new things in the McRae life:

-Bryce finished his retraining for his summer job of driving the bus and being a tour guide

-We've been having a lot of fun hanging out and going on double dates with Brit and Camille (Bryce's coworker and his girlfriend)

-We leave for Alaska on May 2nd for the summer!

-My old roommate and one of my best friends Jasmine and her fiance Josh are coming to visit us this weekend!

-My husband is a total stud and I love him to pieces!

-The wedding band got here! And it is BEAUTIFUL-Bryce really did choose the perfect ring

And now you've been updated on the McRae family :) There will be more to come (hopefully soon-I've been doing a very poor job of writing lately...) including pictures of our car I promise! I just always blog while Bryce is at work and he has the good after pictures on his phone...But you will see them! Have a great week everyone! :)
